Nothing says Summer like Brunch and Brunch cocktails! AMIRITE? One of my favorite day drinks to make in the summer is an orange champagne moscow mule, which I will lovingly call a Mimosa Mule.
Why?
Well, Not only does it have all the traditional ingredients that a moscow mule has (vodka and ginger beer) but it also has fresh squeezed orange juice, and champagne for a nice kick!
The PERFECT addition to your Sunday Funday, adding some ginger beer to your morning is a great way to clear out your sinuses and start the day ready to breathe in all that Summer air!
What do I need to make it?
+ vodka of choice – I recommend a higher quality vodka such as Tito’s or Ketel One because they are much smoother and you can fully focus on the other flavors.
+ champagne or other sparkling wine of choice
+ fresh squeezed orange juice – the oranges should be juicy, not dry.
+ ginger beer – Goslings is the go to brand.
+ lime wedge – optional garnish but adds a nice flavor when rubbing the skin across the rim of the glass
How to make:
Over crushed ice:
– Pour Juice, ginger beer, vodka, champagne slowly in that order to layer
– garnish with Lime wedge and fresh sliced ginger and cocktail straw
