Hi I’m Jenn, the creator of Omnom Delicious!
Where it all began
After being diagnosed with a plethora of health issues all related to my hormones, I felt lost. There was minimal information out there on how to heal my symptoms, instead just pharmaceutical treatments I could try, or like many women do – learning to ‘just deal with it’. I decided to take matters into my own hands.
After researching extensively, tracking my body, my food intake, my eating habits and more – I was able to create a picture of what was helping and harming me. I found a community of women all going through the same issues, and we shared tips, tricks and titbits on healing our body with the most powerful medicine of all: food.
My love for food isn’t new, but when I learnt more about its inextricable relationship with your hormones, mind, mood, sleep, memory and overall health – I realized I had found my calling.
I’m on a mission
I’ve worked as a Nurse for the last 10 years, and for the last 4 of them, I’ve made hormonal healing my side hustle. I became a Nurse because I had a desire to help people find health, but as healthcare models shift, I have come to realize that pharmaceuticals aren’t the only way – or necessarily the right way – toward health.
Non-conventional, holistic healing modalities like food and mindfulness are the gift that keeps giving. My mission is to share those gifts with you.
