Garlic Lemon Butter Shrimp

Ingredients

  • cup butter divided
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 pounds Shrimp peeled and deveined.
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice about half a lemon
  • parsley to garnish

Instructions

  • Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the garlic and other spices and cook until fragrant
  • Fry shrimp and add salt and pepper to your taste.
  • Cook for about two minutes
  • Flip and cook for 2 minutes on the other side until the shrimp begin to turn pink.
  • Add in the rest of the lemon juice, water, and butter.
  • Stir and cook until the butter melts and the shrimp have cooked through.
  • Take off heat. Taste test, and add more salt and pepper or lemon juice if desired.
  • Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve with pasta, rice, or cauliflower rice.
