- 3 to 4 slices stale baguette or white bread
- 5 cloves garlic
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 5 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 3 to 4 tablespoons White wine vinegar
- 4 cups of chicken broth
Peel and smash garlic.
Place bread in 1 to 2 cups chicken broth to soak
Sautee garlic in pan to release fragrance
Place garlic and bread in blender and pulse until smooth.
Add olive oil, vinegar, chicken stock, and blend until smooth.
Season to taste.
Chill at least 2 hours.
Serve chilled with slivered toasted garlic to garnish
