It’s time to start stocking up on all of the ingredients you’ll need for your favorite summer cocktails. One drink that has been popular in recent years is the jalapeno watermelon margarita. Spicy but refreshing, this drink is my spirit animal.
What do I Need to Make a Jalapeno Watermelon Margarita?
- ¼ cup Silver Tequila
- 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice (about 1 small lime)
- ¼ cup fresh watermelon juice*
- 2-4 jalapeño slices, depending on how spicy you like it.
- 1 teaspoon agave nectar
- Ice, for shaking
- Coarsely ground sea salt
How do I Make this Jalapeno Watermelon Margarita?
Begin by filling up your cocktail shaker with ice and adding all of the ingredients except salt to it.
Shake well until everything is mixed together and well chilled.
Rim your serving glasses with a mixture of kosher salt and chili powder. Pour into two ice filled margarita glasses or martini glasses and serve!
